About a month ago, Poland arbitrarily set the week of February 2nd to take MFI-Miami founder and world-famous international blogger Steve Dibert’s deposition along with corporate representative depositions from Dibert’s MFI-Miami entities.

Where did Christian Poland demand to take the depositions? He wanted to do it at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner‘s office in Miami.

However, there are multiple issues with arbitrarily setting these depositions in Miami:

The party seeking a deposition from the opposing side needs to confer with opposing counsel. The lawyers huddle and decide on dates and times for the depositions. As an experienced federal litigator, Christian Poland knows. Yet, he never did it.
Dibert no longer lives in the United States. Both Romspen and Poland know this. Dibert hasn’t physically resided in Florida since June of 2023. Christian Poland knows this. How? Well, he and his minions at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner mention it in their initial complaint from June 2023. So, in order to have Dibert sit for a deposition. Poland would have petition the Colombian government. Unfortunately, the Hague Agreement complicates this. Technically, Dibert still hasn’t been served with the lawsuit but that’s a whole different discussion.
Christian Poland knows that MFI-Miami NM and MFI-Miami Holdings were dissolved in New Mexico last year. MFI-Miami, LLC was administratively dissolve in New Mexico over a month ago.
MFI-Miami lawyers also told him a month ago that the depositions weren’t going to happen. Yet, he scheduled them anyway.
